Ability to operate cash register, count change Able to manage multiple tasks Excellent customer service skills Able to work flexible hours (morning, days, nights and weekends) Time management skills ( be ON TIME to work) Dressed and groomed professionally Personal phone, reliable transportation and valid driver's license are required Ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes extreme weather conditions High School Diploma or GED equivalent LP 9 Propane handlers' license (with- in 60 days of hire date); Will provide training.
Primary Duties:
Work cash register shifts, count change and perform end of shift paperwork Customer Service Be example of professional behavior Stock shelves and cooler Clean and maintain interior of store, sweep, mop, wash windows and take out trash Clean and maintain exterior of store , wash windows and clean dispensers, stock outside supplies Clean up gas and diesel spills Take initiative to notice what needs to be done to maintain quality standards Use of proper food handling through dating, rotating and sanitation Maintain a clean work station and complete assigned deep cleaning Complete shift duties as assigned Fill and dispense Propane per NM State Law Other various duties as assigned
Essential Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or feel object.
Regular attendance is required.
The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand and walk, and lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 employees are required to stand 99% of the time while working.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus.
Employees must be able to hear customers request over moderate background noise.
The heat level in the work environment may be considerable due to heating elements for food.
Employees will be exposed to temperatures o 0 degrees or below in the freezer/Ice House and 32-35 degrees in the cooler.
Employees constantly handling fresh food cannot be under a doctor's care for any communicable disease.
Mental capabilities include oral comprehension, written comprehension, memorization, problem solving, mathematical, measuring and reasoning.
