San Juan Marine San Juan Marine Aztec, NM Aztec, NM Full-time Full-time $35,000 - $60,000 a year $35,000 - $60,000 a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Follows all safety precautions and procedures at all times Ensures all general and new boat sales department policies are followed Fully responsible for the sales of all new, used and brokerage deals Approves all boat deals including actual cash value and supervision of all title work Establishes and monitors monthly sales goals Manages sales meetings, boat shows, lead management systems, website, and retail boat deliveries Be the public face of our dealership Audits boat, motor and trailer inventory monthly for bookkeeper and maintains appropriate levels for market conditions Assists GM with developing and implementing strategic marketing and promotional plans Manages and communicates manufacturers' sales incentives and programs Handles difficult customer complaints to ensure high satisfaction immediately Maintains a constant awareness of CSI levels Responds to phone calls and internet leads daily Maintains VIP relationships with customers Develop and implement on-water demo program Ensures showroom and new vehicle lot display area are maintained in a clean, neat and orderly fashion Ensures showroom and display areas are rearranged periodically as agreed Ensures all sales product is presentable for sale Ensures all boats for display are free of standing water and, during winter months, snow Ensures sales staff maintain all manufacturer product knowledge Hires, fires, manages, leads and supervises the sales staff Recommends, reviews and takes corrective action for individual performers in the sales department, assisting individuals when necessary Trains sales staff when necessary Grooms a replacement Designs and implements promotional programs and employee incentive programs within his/ her department Knows, understands and applies all municipal, state and federal legislation as it pertains to the dealership Knows and understands hiring and termination legislation Organizes and runs department meetings as needed Performs other related duties as assigned Experience - Proven experience in sales, preferably in a leadership role - Strong ability to negotiate and close deals - Excellent analytical skills to assess market trends and competitor activities - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build long-lasting relationships This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for sales and leadership to join our dynamic team.
