Responsibilities:
Pre-testing and special testing of patients (such as visual field tests, visual acuity, color vision testing, stereopsis, lensometry) Contact lens training Preparation and cleaning of exam rooms and equipment Insurance verifications and billing Clerical duties (such as answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, referral assistant, maintenance of patient data) Knowledgeable about products and services offered Requirements:
Computer literacy Handles complex situations and patient issues with tact and patience Respect for patient confidentiality Aptitude for technology and resourcefulness in troubleshooting equipment malfunction Enthusiastic about the latest products and services in eyecare Teamwork skills.
